Return Policy

Any unused stock product (excluding custom orders) purchased in error by the customer may be returned for a full credit minus shipping and a 25% restocking fee. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. Once an order has been shipped, the customer assumes all shipping expenses, including those for returns. Special and custom orders, including custom covers, tarps, curtains, made-to-order items, large-size tarps, multiple-item orders, bulk quantities, clearance items, cut or roll yardage fabrics, are not eligible for returns or refunds under any circumstances. Returns must be initiated within 5 calendar days of shipment. Products purchased in quantities of three (3) or more of the same item are also not eligible for returns.

Refunds and exchanges must occur within 30 days of the delivery date. All returned products must be in new and unused condition and include all original packaging, documentation, and accessories. “New and unused” means items are in their original packaging and free from scratches, dirt, blemishes, or any signs of use. Products returned in damaged or altered condition, or missing original packaging, will not be eligible for a return.

To return an item, customers must first contact sales@tarpaulincompany.com to obtain approval and specific return instructions, including a return shipping address. Once received, returned items will be inspected by warehouse personnel and must be approved by a manager before any refunds are processed.

For products with free shipping, an original shipping charge (typically 10-15% of the item price) will be deducted, along with the return shipping charge and a 25% restocking fee. All return shipping costs are non-refundable. Returns cannot be shipped C.O.D.

When returning a product, include the order number on the box and provide at least one of the following: invoice number, order number, or account number, along with the reason for the return. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.

Defective Products

If a product has a manufacturer defect upon delivery, do not accept the shipment and contact us immediately. Email photos of the defect along with a description to aid in the evaluation. If the defect is confirmed, customers will be instructed to repackage the item in its original packaging for return. Defective items that have been used will not be accepted.

Approved defective items will be replaced with new merchandise at no additional charge. All defective merchandise must be reported within 15 days of shipment. Do not confuse manufacturing defects with damage incurred during shipping. In such cases, do not accept the delivery and contact us immediately for assistance.

Items returned as defective will be inspected. If the defect is deemed due to manufacturing, a replacement will be issued. Products damaged due to misuse or negligence are not covered.

Our products are guaranteed free from manufacturing defects at the time of purchase. This guarantee applies only to unused items in their original packaging and excludes damage from misuse, weather events, or other acts of God. Color variations between products are not considered defects.

Custom Products

Custom tarps, coverings, and fabrics are made-to-order and cannot be canceled or returned once fabrication has begun. Customers must verify specifications at the time of order. Discrepancies must be reported within 1 day of receipt.

Order Cancellations

To cancel an order, email us with your name, address, order number, product name, and order date. Orders for custom or made-to-order items cannot be canceled if fabrication has started. Due to our rapid fulfillment process, materials and labor are committed immediately, and costs cannot be recovered for custom orders.
